As far back as I can remember, I've been a bit different.
When I was four, my parents plucked me from an orphanage that has no record of my biological family and no idea where I came from. They brought home a weak and shy little girl, and I soon blossomed into a chronically ill teenager by day and a screaming tormented dreamer by night.

However, this year is going to be better, or so I thought.
My new history teacher thinks I'm a reincarnated warrior princess with a duty to retrieve an ancient scroll and decipher a prophecy before vampires, witches, lycans, and demons do.
But, in order to go from zero to hero I must befriend a demon, trust and angel, and try not to look stupid in front of the hot new guy, that just so happens to be the first boy that has ever paid attention to me. Who said being sixteen was easy?

Very good storyline. I love a young adult paranormal and this book gave me everything from Lycans, witches, to my all time favorite werewolves. Mina was just your average girl, navigating high school, cute guys and nightmares. The action sequences were so good that I could flip through the pages fast enough.Reviewed by Author Amarie Nicole

I liked this book, or I would have given up early on instead of finishing. The author appears to be unfamiliar with grammar, spelling and punctuation. Apostrophes are sprinkled about, sometimes on possessives, sometimes on plurals. The words passed and past are not remotely interchangeable. Most word processing programs have spelling and grammar checks that could provide at least a start.
Please have someone proofread your work. You have a good imagination and can draw a decent character. The extremely large number of grammatical and spelling errors will limit you, which would be a shame.
Such a good book, I couldn't stop reading. So now I am ready for the next book by this author. This is a stand alone book though so get to it!
I liked the story very much. I stopped reading several times because the poor editing was very distracting and actually nearly ruined the book for me ,but I'm glad I stuck with it. Some of the plot points were fairly obvious but there were plenty of surprises along the way. Character development could be better, but if this is the first in a series I guess there is time for that later. Please please please get this professionally edited. This could be an amazing book. I'd give 5 stars if properly edited.
This is not your ordinary young adult love story. This tale of two worlds have have you clinging from beginning to end. KC Connor has done what no other authors have dared to go near in a young adult book by stick to just one type of fantasy. In this riveting tale of opposite worlds the protagonist allows the readers to take a journey with her into the world she knew before and after. The twist towards the end of the book will leave you begging for more. And although the book has a few grammatical errors along and has a long road ahead of them this amateur author will definitely go far in the very near future! The author is just in the beginning of the writing stage. There is always room for improvement but i believe that they are destined for greatness in the future and have the potential to be be a great author.
I really enjoyed the story this book told. However, the spelling and grammar throughout the entire book was atrocious. I don't know if this book was written by someone who was taught English as a second language, but it would not surprise me one bit. Sentences were started with lowercase letters, the author obviously never learned the differences between to, two, and too as well as your, you're, their, there, they're. Just to name a few things. There were probably at least 2 grammatical or spelling errors per page on average, and I may be understating that. I just wish someone would have proof-read this book first.
Also, I was not a fan of the characters, the main character Mina was a walking contradiction of herself. She was told by those around her how strong she was and how she dealt with life in a positive way, then goes on to ignore everyone she cares about and go out with a guy she doesn't know which everyone close to her tells her is not good. She totally ignores all of her friends and family and was very childish.
I don't normally give bad reviews, but I hope this author can at least try to re-read their own work and fix some of the numerous mistakes.
